Teacher Biography

Hi Everyone!

I am so excited to join the St. Lawrence family this year.  St. Lawrence is a school that is so special to me having attended with my siblings and lifelong friends! I graduated from St. Lawrence is 2005 and loved every bit of it. From St. Lawrence, I furthered my Catholic education at Aquinas Institute. I followed my passion and graduated from SUNY Fredonia in 2020 with a degree in Early Childhood Education and I am currently completing my masters in Literacy Education at Fredonia as well.

When people would ask me what profession I wanted to be in I always knew it was Education. Children learn things at a young age that they will take with them for the rest of their lives. I want to be that teacher that makes a child feel like they can accomplish anything in the world regardless of the obstacles that may stand in their way!

In my free time, I love spending time with family and friends. Sitting around a bonfire making smores is a simple pleasure of mine! When im not with family and friends I love to cook and foster dogs (I have “foster failed” once resulting in me adopting my best little friend!) 🙂

Thank you so much for taking the time to learn a little bit more about me. My goal as a teacher isn’t just to teach but rather influence my students with life lessons just as the teachers in my life did for me. I can’t wait to take on this year with you all!
